SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

What You Need to Know

Please, be aware: we ship eggs monday and tuesdays and thursdays-fridays, sometimes saturdays. We do not monitor weather in your area, if it is cold or too hot, or you would like it shipped at certain time, please, update your order by calling or sending an e-mail.

You will get each of the order you placed in a separate shipment. If, for example, you prchased 3 orders per 100 eggs, you will get 3 separate boxes. Each bundle you purchased is having a shipping fee that includes actual postage, foam shippers, box and packing material. Foam shippers and boxes do not come free for us, we do not cut our foam,  our foam shippers ordered at the factory  by container. Boxes we purchase retail.

Adult birds are shipped  around end of october- beginning of november throughout winter till february. Birds are 4-5 months old when shipped. If you are local or live not far, pick up is preferable and we encourage you to do so.

Juveniles mean  of  all of our quail, pheasants, chukars.  We do NOT ship juveniles, pick up only. 

All updates as for shipping/ eggs or birds/ are posted generally weekly on a business Facebook page during busy laying season, to keep the web site  not cluttered. If you do not have a Facebok profile, please, CALL, - if not answered, i always return calls, - this will be the quickest way to get a reply, because during laying season, which is a hatching season for me, too, i am super busy.

We do not offer live shipments guarantee, because once birds leave the farm grounds, we do not know how they are being handled. So far we had no issues with dead shipments. In case you experience this, please, take a photo and send an e-mail or call. We would work out a mutually- suitable solution. 

We have no responsibility how the birds will react to a new environment. If you give a drastically different food or water or provide prison- like caged housing with wired flooring, - birds will die. They used to semi- free range environment with sand base. If you stuff them in a wired box and expect to thrive, and it does not happen- i am a wrong person to complain to. You can not provide good environment for the birds - do not buy. They will die. And you will tell that it was a bad breeder.

OUR RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of products we offer, which are live birds and hatching eggs in particular, returns and replacements are not offered.

If you placed an order by mistake or changed your mind or else,  and it has not been shipped yet, please, contact / CALL/ . Once the order shipped, - you have it. Nothing can be changed or reversed or refunded.

VERY IMPORTANT:

Our web site is hosted by WIX platform and all the payments are handled securely by 3rd party. Once you paid with a credit card, debit card, etc, 5 % is taken from the total amount by a processing party which is NOT us. When you change your mind and want to cancelled the order that has not been shipped yet, you will be refunded only the amount  LESS processing fee, as there is no way i can get it back, it was already 'processed' and i am not having loss by paying for your mind change. By placing an order you realize and agree to the fact that in case of cancelling the order and  asking a refund you agree to 5% processing fee witheld from the total amount paid. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Things to be aware of prior to ordering: 

 

We recommend that you already know the basics about hatching and raising chicks, if not, please do some research before you buy hatching eggs. Please understand, that hatching eggs are not a manufactured product. They are provided by mother nature, which nobody has any control over. So when you buy, for example, 30 eggs it does not mean you buy 30 chicks.

 

We ship fertile eggs, but do not guarantee successful hatches due to circumstances beyond our control.

We sell UNWASHED and UNSANITIZED eggs from ground-kept birds and it is up to you to take additional steps to prepare eggs for incubation or leave as is.

Please, do not ask to send you the bluest, the largest, only spotty or only smooth blues, - this is not the products we are selling and your order most likely will be cancelled. 

 

We ship eggs Priority Mail, but do not guarantee anything to do with shipping or handling. They are insured, so be sure to check the eggs as soon as they arrive. If there is a problem, file a claim with the USPS. That is why they are insured. Keep in mind that one of the risks involved in shipping eggs are USPS delays.

 No replacements, no refunds, no returns. You are very unlikely to hatch 100% of the eggs and whatever you hatch,- majority will be males, so plan the eggs amount accordingly.
